Dustin was relieved to finally be getting out of the house to do something exciting. Without Quinn around, he had no motivation to do, well, anything. He’d become a recluse, turning down modeling jobs and interviews, and moping around the house. And he was bored. Pushing himself up off the couch, he entered his bedroom to get ready, his eyes stopping to rest on some of Quinn’s things which sat in the corner. Shaking his head, he opened his closet, forcing himself to focus on the task at hand.
After putting on a button down shirt and a pair of jeans, he ran his fingers through his hair and sprayed on some cologne, finally texting Jessie to tell her he was on his way. He was curious to see what she was wearing; as attractive as she was, she wasn’t exactly ‘sexy’. He parked the car in front of her house, getting out to wait for her. When she came out, he let out a whistle, stepping forward to greet her with a kiss on the cheek. “Just a couple minutes.” He reassured her, stepping back with a smirk to open her car door. “Let’s go.” He got on the driver’s side and turned the keys, pulling away from the curb and starting to drive in the direction of the club.
Jessie’s face flushed slightly when she heard Dustin whistle, a laugh leaving her from the mixture of flattery and embarrassment. She rested her hand on his chest and smiled softly when he gave her the soft kiss on the cheek. She’d missed him a lot and she was really happy they were going out. Of course, she was a bit nervous though. Jessie made a lot of mistakes when she’d been drinking but as long as she controlled herself, it wouldn’t be too bad…right? The redhead slipped into his car; tucking herself in and allowing him to shut the door before he crawled into the driver’s seat. “Is this some sort of high class club we’re going to? I don’t look too trashy, right?” Jessie turned her head to look at him, giving him a weak smile. For someone who hadn’t been out much, he still managed to look really good. Curse his good looks! Jessie couldn’t have left the house in the condition she was in before, no way. She was a mess! But Dustin? He looked like he could’ve just slipped on a shirt and was ready to go. Fucker.
Twenty minutes. That’s all the time Dustin had given her to get ready. ‘Dress sexy.’ he had told her. Jessie didn’t really believe she had any sex appeal so this was a bit of a difficult task for her. What was even considered sexy but wouldn’t make her seem like a total slut? The redhead searched through her closet, tossing ensemble after ensemble out of the closet and onto the bed; her eyes finally settling onto something she’d only bought but never dared to wear out. A pink silk, low v-neck shirt and a pair of black high waisted shorts. Would that do? Her mind raced, clothes being stripped away in place of the new, much more revealing ones. A pair of black pumps were slipped onto her feet before she decided to look at herself in the mirror.
To say Jessie was a little anxious about the outfit was an understatement but she decided that this would have to be it. After all, she only had moments before Dustin would be dragging her out the door to some high class place she’d probably never been to before. A quick coat of pink lipstick, a bit of daring eye makeup. Hopefully Dustin wouldn’t make fun of her but this is was just about as good as it would get. When the redhead heard the buzzing of her phone, alerting her that he was there, she sent out a quick text saying she’d be down in a minute before making her way down the stairs to meet him. “Hey! Hope I didn’t make you wait too long!”
